NEW: Palm Beach County Mensa Meetup Group

Mensa events are open to all Mensans, their spouses, children and guests. Who may or may not attend a private home is at the host's discretion. Hosts: Please mention any special concerns about your location, such as smoking restrictions, limited access for the handicapped, or presence of pets. Guests: If you have any special needs or restrictions, please check with your host before attending an event.

Notice! Our group has merged its calendar with the one from the Broward group and some events from Miami. The icon in the rightmost column of the event indicates what group(s) are hosting that activity (B for Broward, M for Miami, P for Palm Beach County). See the legends at the bottom of this page for an explanation of other icons that may appear in this column. Most phone numbers for Broward events will be area code 954, for Miami, 305.

	Friday, July 11, 7:00 pm. FIRST FRIDAY at Payathai restaurant in the shopping mall/center at the northwest corner of Lantana Rd. and Congress Ave. If you enter the shopping center from the Lantana Rd. entrance Payathai is about 10 stores down on the right. While reservations are not technically necessary your RSVPs will enable the restaurant to arrange for special seating/tables, etc.
	Saturday, July 19. Join us at Roger Dean Stadium. Your chance to see baseball the way it's supposed to be, and even get close to the players! Tickets are $6.50 each - only $5.50. if we have a group of 15 or more. Have fun, relax, and enjoy the game! Bring family and friends along, too. If we're lucky, we might even see the Manatees! 	Saturday, July 26, 1:00 pm. EXCOMM MEETING. Location is Gander Mountain Outdoor, 100 Gander Way, Palm Beach Gardens. That's off of Northlake Blvd, just east of I-95 - behind the Home Depot. 	Sunday, July 20, 11 am. Sunday Brunch - Come one. Come all to the Olive Garden in Coral Springs at 11am. Let's meet for this well known chain's endless salad bowl, fresh from the oven bread sticks and pasta. Comfort food time. Good Italian food, moderately priced, ordered from the menu so that you can get as much or as little as you wish, friendly service and great company. 	Saturday, July 26, 10:30 am. Fourth Saturday Fun - Young Mensan Activities A fun filled day at the Museum of Discovery and Science. Play in the exhibits, take in an IMAX movie and catch a bite to eat at the Subway sandwich shop on the premises. 401 SW 2nd Street in the Arts & Science District. Drive east on Broward Boulevard to SW Fifth Avenue (Commodore Brook Ave.). Turn right. The Museum will be on the left and Science garage on your right. Parking is not free. We will meet at the front entrance. Look for the Mensa Sign. Admission includes exhibits and one IMAX® show and is Adults $14 and Children (2-12) $12. We can get a discount if we have a group of 15 or more. Please RSVP to Micki Hawn at 954-345-1688. These are Mensa Family Activities and NOT a baby-sitting service.
