Palm Beach County Mensa Calendar of Events
November, 2004
Mensa events are open to all Mensans, their spouses, children and guests. Who may or may not attend a private home is at the host's discretion. Hosts: Please mention any special concerns about your location, such as smoking restrictions, limited access for the handicapped, or presence of pets. Guests: If you have any special needs or restrictions, please check with your host before attending an event.
Notice! Our group has merged its calendar with the one from the Broward group and some events from Miami. The icon in the rightmost column of the event indicates what group(s) are hosting that activity (B for Broward, M for Miami, P for Palm Beach County). See the legends at the bottom of this page for an explanation of other icons that may appear in this column. Most phone numbers for Broward events will be area code 954, for Miami, 305.

OUTDOOR SIG: Kayak in the Keys to Indian Key, the first county seat of Dade County and to Lignum Vitae, the summer home of the Matheson who donated the land for Matheson Hammock Park in South Dade. Afterward, we'll have an OAK-supplied lunch. We car-pool either from Outdoor World/Bass Pro or Pines Blvd. & 136th Avenue. Saturday, November 20. Bicycle Loop Road off the Tamiami Trail. We've seen dozens of gators, lots of fish, birds. The trail is hard-pack and takes any kind of bicycle. Total ride is about 15 miles (about 2 hours) including rest stops. We'll car-pool from Flamingo Rd. & N.W. 136th Avenue.
