Palm Beach County Mensa Calendar of Events - October, 2001
Mensa
events are open to all Mensans, their spouses, children and guests. Who
may or may not attend a private home is at the host's discussion.
Hosts: Please mention any special concerns about your location, such as
smoking restrictions, limited access for the handicapped, or presence
of pets. Guests: If you have any special needs or restrictions, please
check with your host before attending an event.
Notice!
Our group has merged its calendar with the one from the Broward group
and some events from Miami. The icon in the rightmost column of the
event indicate what group(s) are hosting that activity (B for Broward,
M for Miami, P for Palm Beach County). See the legends at the bottom of
this page for an explanation of other icons that appear in this column.

October 20th. OUTDOOR SIG: SNORKEL DAY. Snorkel Biscayne National
Underwater Park (the park is underwater). The South Florida winter is
coming, along with its snow days and icy roads, so this may be your
last opportunity in year 2001 to snorkel magnificent reefs in South
Florida. The park is near Florida City toward the end of the turnpike
and offers snorkeling, picnicking, kayaking, and other outdoor
activities. Join your fellow mensans in some of the best that outdoor
South Florida has to offer. Price approximately $32.00 per person. Boat
leaves in early afternoon, returns about 5:00 pm. Bring your own lunch,
